Architectural Precast - Detailing & Structural Considerations  (AP002)

This presentation provides information on how to properly layout and detail architectural precast concrete. Participants also learn about structural precast and its applications.  A complete case study of a total precast building is included.

Architectural Precast Plant Seminar & Tour - Lima, NY  (P002)

This presentation provides the designer with guidance as to how to accurately and safely specify precast/prestressed concrete.  Content is focused on how precast architectural products are manufactured, formed, and detailed along with a review of how quality is controlled and assured.

Precast Housing Structures Design & Construction  (H001)

This presentation provides the designer with guidance as to how precast/prestressed concrete enables them to obtain long clear spans, shallow cross-sections, high load capacities, high durability, and attractive appearance.  Includes retirement housing, student housing, hotels, motels, etc.

Precast Parking Structures Design & Construction  (PS001)

Attendees will be provided with information on how structured parking can help use real estate more efficiently by minimizing the amount of paved area.  Parking structures provide more opportunity for directing and reclaiming water run-off.  Environmental concerns such as stormwater control, groundwater conservation, and the burdens on municipal water-treatment infrastructure are covered. A parking structure usually creates a visitor's first and last impression of a facility, and its design often plays a significant marketing role. Cost, appearance, and function are all essential qualities that ensure a parking structures uccessful life - qualities that can be enhanced through the incorporation of precast or prestressed concrete construction as your design option.
