Kontek's Patented Modular Barriers Blocks (MBB)

The primary objective is to deliver a massive, virtually indestructible, physical security barrier capability. The program will provide interlocking massive concrete blocks that can be quickly deployed in the field with no construction for enhanced security.

The modular aspect allows for various barrier height and width and permits relocation as required. MBB's can be stored, shipped and deployed when and where needed.

Kontek MBB's are designed to withstand a blast charge and defeat a 20,000 lb vehicle at 50mph. A variety of stand alone vehicle barriers are available from 3,000 lb vehicles to 65,000 lb vehicles. Kontek MBB's are currently being deployed on various nuclear DOD and NNSA/DOR facilities throughout the US.
